NCPCR Recruitment 2025 for Principal Private Secretaries, Assistant Director and Other Posts
The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR), a statutory body under the Ministry of Women & Child Development, Government of India, has announced vacancies for the recruitment of Principal Private Secretary and Assistant Director on a deputation basis. These positions are to be filled on Foreign Service Terms as per the prescribed eligibility criteria. Eligibility Criteria and Requirements
Education
Principal Private Secretary: Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university. They must also demonstrate proficiency in computer work, which will be tested internally by NCPCR.
Assistant Director: Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree from a recognized university in Sociology, Child Development, Law, or Psychology.
Experience Requirement
Principal Private Secretary:
Must hold an analogous post in any Central/State Government department or autonomous bodies.
Candidates must have five years of regular service in the Private Secretary pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 (PB-3) with a Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Alternatively, candidates with six years of regular service in the pay scale of Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800 are also eligible.
Assistant Director:
Must be serving in an analogous post in any Central/State Government department or autonomous body.
Alternatively, candidates with two years of regular service as a Senior Research Assistant (PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800, GP Rs. 4800) are eligible.
Candidates with three years of experience as a Research Assistant or Senior Research Investigator (PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800, GP Rs. 4600) can apply.
Those with six years of experience as a Research Investigator (PB-2: Rs. 9300-34800, GP Rs. 4200) are also eligible.
Salary
Principal Private Secretary: Pay Band-3 (Rs. 15,600 – 39,100) + Grade Pay Rs. 6,600 (Level 11 in 7th CPC).
Age limit for deputation will be as per the government norms.

For Principal Private Secretary, an internal computer proficiency test will be conducted by NCPCR.
